Why should you consider a Hunter Wheel Alignment for your car.

And how Camel Tyres can give the service you are looking for!

Why does my car need an alignment?

Most people believe you only need an alignment if you have a problem. This is not the case.

Misalignment occurs through day to day driving of a car. As the car ages, components  can loosen and suspension parts wear.

Obviously kerbing and hitting a pot hole will affect it dramatically.

Alternatively it may have been wrongly adjusted previously.

The FACTS

9 out of 10 cars on the road suffer some form of misalignment

Misalignment can:

increase fuel consumption

causes premature tyre wear

cause poor road handling

cause the steering wheel to be crooked

I have always had my ‘Tracking’ done

‘Tracking’ is a measurement system from a bygone era, when very few cars were adjustable and for those that were, it was for the Toe on the fronts only - a two wheel alignment.

Some ‘tracking systems’ can measure the rears in a secondary operation, therefore they are not always able to compare measurement in direct relation to one another simultaneously.

But isn’t a two wheel alignment good enough?

If you were having a table built by a carpenter, but when he delivered it wobbled.

Then when you ask why? If he answered:

“Oh it’s alright, I only measured two of the legs!”

You would not be best pleased!

So a car has four wheels and its important to check them in relation to one another

Why should I consider having a four wheel alignment?

It can:

Save Money by improving fuel efficiency.

Prevent from unnecessary replacement of tyres.

Improve road handling.

Offer a better drive and enjoyable driving experience.

Improve Safety.

Make the car less stable when taking emergency or evasive action.

Increase fuel consumption and emission.

How much?

It’s not about how much but more about:
